What this service is
A drain and refill replaces old transmission fluid with the fluid type your manufacturer calls for. Some vehicles have a set interval for it and some don't, so we go by your vehicle and how you drive, not a universal mileage number. Lots of short trips, towing and stop-and-go traffic on Jefferson Hwy and Clearview are harder on fluid than steady highway miles.
What this service isn't
We want to be clear up front: this is maintenance only. We don't do transmission repairs, rebuilds or internal transmission diagnostics. If your transmission is slipping, shifting hard, won't go into gear, or has a transmission warning light on, a transmission repair shop is the right place for it, and fresh fluid isn't going to fix it.
Leaks and other things we can check
If you're seeing red or brown fluid under the car, we can look for where it's coming from. Lines, pans and gaskets can leak, and low fluid causes its own problems. If you drive a manual, we also do clutch repair.

Estimates are free, and you get one in writing before any work starts. Qualifying repairs are covered by our 12-month / 12,000-mile warranty, and financing is available for qualifying repairs if the bill is more than you planned on this month.
